Last updated 5 October 2026

Governed by the law of England & Wales

A UK company

01

Who we are

SPICE Brands Limited (“SPICE”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15611059. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions about it, contact us at info@spice-brands.com.

02

The personal data we collect

  • When you contact us — by email or through our social media channels: your name, email address, job title, organisation and anything else you choose to tell us.
  • When you send us a business opportunity: information about you, your business and its people contained in the material you send.
  • Business and investor relationships: contact and professional details of founders, investors, advisers and others we deal with, including from public sources such as LinkedIn, company registers and the industry press.
  • When you visit our site: technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, collected by our website hosting provider.

We do not knowingly collect special category data (for example, information about health, ethnicity or religious beliefs) and ask that you do not send it to us.

03

How and why we use it

We use personal data only where UK data protection law allows us to:

  • Responding to your enquiry — our legitimate interests.
  • Assessing brands and investment opportunities — our legitimate interests.
  • Managing relationships with investors, partners and advisers — our legitimate interests, or taking steps before entering into a contract with you.
  • Operating and securing our website — our legitimate interests.
  • Meeting our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations — legal obligation.

We will only send you marketing with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

04

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

  • service providers who support our business, such as email, IT and website hosting providers;
  • our professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants;
  • co-investors or counterparties, where needed for a transaction you are involved in; and
  • regulators, courts or other authorities, where the law requires it.
05

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

06

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above. Enquiries and unsolicited opportunities that we do not take forward are deleted after 36 months. Records relating to transactions and investor relationships are kept for up to seven years after the relationship ends, for legal and tax purposes.

07

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

08

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to erase your data;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your data;
  • object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests; and
  • ask us to transfer your data to you or to someone else.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@spice-brands.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), although we would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
